Celebrating Ylliass Destin LAWANI: A Pioneer in GLOBE and Science Diplomacy

successful completion of the prestigious Global Diplomacy Fellowship
at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). As
a GLOBE alumnus, Benin Country Coordinator, and a steadfast advocate
for science diplomacy, Ylliass’s achievement marks another significant
milestone in his remarkable journey of leadership and dedication. His
commitment to fostering global collaboration and environmental
stewardship exemplifies the core values of the GLOBE community.
Since the inception of GLOBE, Ylliass has been a driving force behind its success, inspiring countless students, educators, and researchers in Benin and beyond. As a passionate science educator and coordinator, he has worked tirelessly to promote STEM education and environmental awareness, cultivating a new generation of climate-conscious citizens. His devotion to science diplomacy through the Global Diplomacy Fellowship underscores his commitment to bridging local and global efforts to address pressing environmental challenges. Ylliass attended virtually a Global Diplomacy Fellowship Graduation held in New York at the United Nations HQ on December 3, 2024 pictured below.
