GLOBE Ireland Celebrates National Tree Day

GLOBE Ireland teamed up with Green Schools Biodiversity to celebrate National Tree Day with an interactive webinar. The GLOBE Ireland team was delighted to be joined by NASA scientist Brian Campbell, who gave a talk about how NASA uses both satellites and citizen scientist observations to study trees around the globe. Then the Green Schools Biodiversity and GLOBE Ireland teams made short presentations in which they discussed trees on a more local level. Finally, students were invited to ask questions. The GLOBE Ireland team received a huge level of engagement from students around Ireland who asked fascinating questions!
