Join Dr. Kyle McDonald, NASA-ISRO SAR (NISAR) Mission Project Scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Professor of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the City College of New York, at 10:00 am ET (3:00 pm UTC) for an overview of the NISAR Mission. Scheduled to launch in 2025, the NISAR satellite will measure nearly all of Earth’s land and ice covered surfaces every twelve days, allowing scientists to monitor Earth’s changing ecosystems, land and sea ice extent, and dynamic solid Earth.
