Stone Child College - Stone Child College

Stone Child College is located in Box Elder, MT and primarily serves educational needs on the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation. This GLOBE Partnership along with the instructional program at Stone Child College serves students in the STEM area; particularly in the Natural Resource program. GLOBE protocols are integrated into the undergraduate curriculum in a number of ways. Atmospheric data is used in statistics classes. GLOBE protocols are used in Soil Science, Ecology, Undergraduate research, Atmospheric science, GPS principles and practices. GLOBE has been instrumental in the STEM academic department's effort to provide tribal, cultural and academic support in promoting, preserving and researching the Chippewa-Cree culture and language.
