I am a Project Coordinator with GLOBE Mission EARTH (GME). I also serve as the lead for the GME Web Presence Working Group and am the primary website designer for the GME website. I assist teachers and students in all things GLOBE, especially website and technology issues. Finally, I am also currently the North American representative for the GLOBE Technology Working Group. In this group, I am fortunate to work with GLOBE representatives from around the world on improving access to GLOBE and handling all manner of technology-related issues.
I live in Toledo, Ohio and I have worked with Dr. Kevin Czajkowski at the University of Toledo on various GLOBE activities and teacher trainings/professional development since 2013. I have two master's degrees: one in Geology and the other in Geography. I have teaching experience at the community college level, having taught both Environmental Science and Introductory Earth Sciences/Geology. I also spent ~10 years as a Hydrogeologist/Project Manager for a consulting company prior to returning to academia.
On a personal note, I love to travel and have been to many countries. This works out great with GLOBE, where you can easily make friends all around the world! My craziest trip was to Antarctica, and my favorite places to visit are Iceland and Tahiti.
