2019 GLOBE Learning Expedition in Estonia
Location: Remniku, Estonia
GLOBE Estonia welcomes 130 participants to the Annual GLOBE Learning Expedition in Estonia, 5-8 August. Over the course of 4 days we will learn how to collect various data by GLOBE protocols, do some fieldwork and practice how to present the results.
The main focus of the expedition is learning about the environment in a more hands-on fashion and about the possible environmental issues present in North-East Estonia. The focal points of this year’s meet-up will be bundling protocols, land-cover research and new technologies.
Over the course of 4 days the participants will:
- introduce GLOBE activities taking place in their countries,
- learn how to collect data for GLOBE protocols,
- join the expedition in the surrounding nature,
- and present the results of their fieldwork.
