Once students analyze their data and write their conclusions, it is time for them to put it all together in a scientific poster. While this can be a daunting task, Dr. Liz Burakowski will talk us through the techniques that helped her create award-winning posters for her conferences!

Dr. Liz Burakowski is a visiting scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of New Hampshire.  Her research focuses on how climate is affected by changes in land cover with a specific interest in the Northeastern United States.  Dr. Liz also investigates how changes in winter climate (and specifically snow!) will affect the winter sports industry.  Dr. Burakowski's work has appeared in the Journal of Geophysical Research, The Science Teacher, and The Guardian, among other publications.
