As an environmental conservation demonstration site located centrally within the 15 states of the Northeast Region, Berks Nature is positioned to address the specific needs of the GLOBE attendees. Berks Nature can offer an experience in which participants are immersed in outdoor nature programming while also providing for indoor meeting spaces and technology needs of both presenters and attendees. The program will provide for individual and collaborative learning opportunities that focus on the following topics:

  • Water Quality Protocols: In-depth Learning

  • K-5 Elementary GLOBE Lesson Integration

  • A Social Simulation: Climate Change, Global Warming & Environmental Justice

  • Citizen Scientists: Engaging the Community with the GLOBE Observer

  • Navigating the GLOBE Website
