GLOBE Goes to Camp Supports Its First GLOBE IOP

The NASA Goddard GLOBE Goes to Camp Project supports its first GLOBE Intensive Observation Period (IOP) this summer during the months of June and July with campers, their communities, and other members of the GLOBE community. Throughout the summer they will be collecting and comparing air temperature, soil temperature, surface temperature, water temperature, and cloud observations as they examine microclimates where they live and learn about others from camps across the United States.

On Wednesday the 8th of June, Peggy Foletta connected with the campers to discuss GLOBE water quality and answer a few questions we received from the campers during the week. The campers were super engaged and excited to hear their questions being spotlighted during the connection with the GLOBE scientist.
