This summer, NASA Takes GLOBE to Camp provided over 10,000 campers across the United States with opportunities to explore GLOBE Clouds, Trees, Land Cover, Air Quality, Soil, Surface Temperature, and Mosquito Habitats. More than 30 camps shared GLOBE as an avenue to integrate NASA Citizen Science and Environmental Stewardship within their programming. In the fall efforts will continue with a Cohort of informal educators working with camp-to-school partnerships in their local communities.

The NASA Takes GLOBE to Camp project continues to grow from the original three states in 2018 to camps from over 20+ states that are already on board for 2023. Each year the participating camps experience GLOBE as community-wide outreach that encourages members of their communities to engage with their campers through NASA/GLOBE Citizen Science investigations.
