U.S. Partner Forum Welcomes New Members
Special Thanks to Kimberly Davis and Jodi Haney
The U.S. Partner Forum would like to thank Kimberly Davis and Jodi Haney for their service to the GLOBE community. They each recently completed their terms on the USPF for the Southeast Region (Kimberly Davis) and as the At-Large representative (Jodi Haney).
Stepping into their roles are Deborah McAllister (Southeast Region) and Donna Torres (At-Large representative). Welcome, Deborah and Donna!
Southeast Region Representative
Dr. Deborah McAllister, a UC Foundation Professor in the School of Education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, is the new Southeast representative on the GLOBE U.S. Partner Forum. She works with pre-service and in-service teachers in undergraduate and graduate courses and provides teacher professional development programs on STEM topics. She has been a GLOBE partner and trainer since 2016.
At-Large Representative
Donna Torres of the INFINITY Science Center is the new At-Large representative on the GLOBE U.S. Partner Forum. She is the Education Manager at INFINITY Science Center, Pearlington, Mississippi, and she serves as INFINITY’s coordinator representative for the Southeast Student Research Symposium with NASA Office of STEM Engagement. Donna promotes STEM programming throughout her community through her steering committee positions for Excel by 5 and the Mississippi State Home Extension services. Donna conducts GLOBE professional development for educators through INFINITY’s EduPro program and works with the museum team to provide GLOBE programming.
