Request for Comments on NASA Solicitation for New and Revised GLOBE Protocols
NASA will be soliciting proposals to develop new GLOBE measurement protocols and modify existing protocols! You can comment on the language of the solicitation; comments should be submitted by 31 December 2024.

Recording of 30 Years of GLOBE Campaign Webinar, Data Time Machine: How to Look at Local Data Over Time, Now Available
On 7 November Peder Nelson, GLOBE Land Cover Science Lead, led a discussion on exploring the past 30 years of GLOBE data and connecting it to present observations, including strategies to address common challenges encountered in creating a data time series from local data. YLACES Awards a YES Medal to GLOBE’s Dr. Elena Sparrow
Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists (YLACES) awards a Youth Environmental Science (YES) Medal annually in “recognition of a significant contribution to youth learning as citizen environmental scientists.” This year’s awardee was GLOBE’s Elena Sparrow of the University of Alaska! YLACES celebrates it's 10th anniversary this year.
