GLOBE Training through Eco-Schools USA
Eco-Schools is an internationally acclaimed program that strives to model environmentally sound practices, provide support for greening the curriculum and enhance science and academic achievement. Additionally, it works to foster a greater sense of environmental stewardship and provides a framework to help educators integrate sustainability principles throughout their schools and curriculum. Currently, there are over 59 countries around the world participating in the program.
Eco-Schools USA, the U.S. branch of this international organization, is currently offering a free online course opportunity for any US teacher who plans to take part in the Eco-Schools USA program with students in grades K-12 and who wants to become GLOBE-trained.
