Thursday, 10 June, at 02:00 p.m. EDT (06:00 p.m. UTC), you are invited to join the GLOBE Mission Mosquito (GMM) webinar: “Engage Native Youth Using Citizen Science.”

Citizen Science for a Native Audience: Join us as Amelia Cook shares how she adapted NASA GLOBE Mission Mosquito monitoring activity for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma’s Jones Academy Virtual STEAM summer camp. She will share incorporating Native American culture and what virtual resources they used to drive student engagement.

Have Mosquito Photos?

The GMM team would like to feature your mosquito photos in the Science Notebook Resource. Submissions will be accepted through September 2021. The GMM team is looking for exemplary larvae photos in the following categories: full-body; siphon; pectin; and tuft.
