Register Now for Final GLOBE/SMAP Field Campaign Webinar: Tuesday, 03 May
There’s still time to register for the final GLOBE Program/SMAP field campaign webinar, “Review of Phase I of the SMAP Campaign,” which will be held on Tuesday, 03 May, at 11 a.m. ET (4 p.m. UTC).
The webinar will feature:
- SMAP scientist, Dr. Erika Podest, discussing some of the many products being generated from SMAP data;
- Dr. Jodi Haney and her students from Bowling Green State University presenting their research on the GLOBE SMAP data collection;
- two SMAP videos (Dishing the Dirt and Technical Origami);
- data counts, new team welcomes, and shout-outs; and
- the transitioning of the SMAP Soil Moisture Measurement Field Campaign to the El Niño Field Campaign.
The webinar will be held at https://zoom.us/j/7578241037.
This webinar will be the final SMAP-specific webinar. The SMAP Soil Moisture Measurement Field Campaign will transition into the current El Niño Field Campaign, so SMAP measurements will continue – and are even more vital to helping us understand how the El Niño event affects your local environments. So, keep collecting that SMAP data.
