GLOBE/SMAP Soil Moisture Field Campaign 1-Year Highlights Webinar: 02 February
The next GLOBE/SMAP Soil Moisture Field Campaign webinar will be held on Tuesday, 02 February at 4:00 p.m. ET (9:00 p.m. UTC). The webinar is entitled: “1 Year of the SMAP Mission and Global Shout-Outs to all the GLOBE schools/teams collecting SMAP soil moisture data." The GLOBE/SMAP Soil Moisture Field Campaign began 1 October 2015 and will run through 30 April 2016.
The webinar will:
- highlight one-year of the SMAP satellite in space;
- discuss the campaign measurements with SMAP scientists; and
- present a report by teacher Vicky Gorman from the Medford Memorial Middle School in New Jersey, USA and teacher Marina Barišić from the Ill. Osnovna skola Varazdin in Croatia.
