Opportunity for Maryland USA teachers
Are you a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade classroom teacher who is interested in learning about how NASA missions are studying the Chesapeake Bay watershed region while earning some money over the summer? NASA is currently selecting a small cadre of Maryland teachers (10 per grade level) to participate in an exciting program that will help you integrate the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core State Standards for your grade level with the Maryland Environmental Literacy standards as you develop hands-on investigations that will enable your students to collect data as they learn about their local environment.
