Dr. Michael Notaro - University of Madison-Wisconsin (UW)

The University of Toledo partners with Dr. Michael Notaro at the University of Madison-Wisconsin, along with David Bydlowski (Wayne RESA), to lead the efforts of the GLOBE Midwest Collaborative in Earth System Science.

GLOBE Midwest Collaborative Earth System Team

GLOBE Mission EARTH/University of Toledo is active in GLOBE's Midwest Collaborative Earth System Team, along with other GLOBE partners from around the Midwest.

Dr. Michael Jobot - State University of New York (SUNY) - Fredonia

The University of Toledo partners with Dr. Michael Jabot at SUNY Fredonia on our B-WET Great Lakes GLOBE work training teachers to utilize GLOBE protocols with their students in investigating the Great Lakes region.

Dr. Mitchell Klett - Northern Michigan University (NMU)

The University of Toledo partners with Dr. Mitchell Klett at Northern Michigan University (NMU) on our B-WET Great Lakes GLOBE work training teachers to utilize GLOBE protocols with their students in investigating the Great Lakes region.

GLOBE AREN Project

The AEROKATS and ROVER Education Network (AREN) introduces NASA technologies and practices in authentic, experiential learning environments. Low-cost instrumented systems for in-situ and remotely sensed Earth observations include kite-based “AEROKATS”, and remotely controlled aquatic and land-based “ROVERS”.

GLOBE Arctic and Earth Signs

The Arctic and Earth Signs project is based at the University of Alaska Fairbanks International Arctic Research Center, and connects youth and adults to climate change and Earth science learning through inquiry-based GLOBE investigations and community stewardship projects. Come collaborate with NASA and Arctic scientists to make a difference!

Partners in Education

Partners in Education is a non-profit organization that develops programming for area K-12 schools and fosters partnerships with schools by engaging businesses, nonprofit agencies and faith partners in service to students.

Student Watershed Watch - TMACOG

The Student Watershed Watch (SWW) helps our region’s young people to appreciate our streams, so they may grow to be wise stewards. Each year the SWW brings hundreds of students together from urban and rural school districts in the Maumee Area of Concern to learn about our local environment.

NASA Challenger Learning Center - ESC Lake Erie West, OH

As a leader in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education; Challenger Center and its international network of more than 40 Challenger Learning Centers use space-themed simulated learning environments to engage students in dynamic, hands-on opportunities.

STARnet - Science-Technology Activities for Libraries

The Science‐Technology Activities and Resources [STAR] Library Network (STAR Net) is a community of library and STEM professionals that work together to strengthen STEAM learning in public libraries nationwide.

ROADS on Mars Challenge (Rover Observation and Drone Survey)

The ROADS on Mars challenge gives teams of students grades 3–12 a chance to tackle a mission to Mars, following in the path of the Mars rover. Teams face challenges including engineering and programming and analysis of biological signatures and geologic features.

Apollo 50 Challenge

The Apollo Next Giant Leap Student (ANGLeS) Challenge is a national challenge celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission by giving students the chance to recreate the landing using drones and robots, focusing on making it accessible for underrepresented and underserved communities.

NESEC - NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative

"The NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative (NESEC) is building pathways between NASA’s Earth STEM assets to large, diverse audiences in order to enhance K-12 teaching and learning, and to provide opportunities for lifelong learners."
