- Yashraj Sandeep Patil is a multifaceted professional renowned for his significant contributions to STEM and Diplomacy. As an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at the SNJB's College of Engineering in Chandwad, Nashik, he imparts advanced knowledge in STEM, Diplomacy, and Research to empower the youths.
- He recently completed his Master of Technology (Engineering Design) by Research at the Symbiosis Institute of Technology(SIT), earning the prestigious 'Chancellor's Gold Medal' for the 'Best Outgoing Indian Student in Post Graduate Programme' from the Hon'ble President of India - Smt. Droupadi Murmu at the 21st Convocation of Symbiosis International University (Deemed University), Pune, India. He submitted his thesis titled " Trend Analysis of Climate Change Events on Biodiversity Hotspots through Exploratory Data Analysis and Machine Learning Algorithms."
- He has successfully completed his diplomatic training in multilateral diplomacy under the Global Diplomacy Initiative, Spring 2023 Fellowship Programme and now is a UNITAR Global Diplomacy Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), New York, USA.
- He is leading the GLOBE Lab and Science Diplomacy Lab at SNJB's College of Engineering, he ensures the successful implementation of NASA's The GLOBE Program and promotes the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Science Diplomacy, instilling the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - 'the whole world is one family' - that Yashraj got enlightened from Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and now passing this in today's youths.
- He served as a Peer Mentor at NASA STEM Enhancement of Earth Sciences (SEES) for 2023 Earth Explorer NASA SEES Summer Internship Program.
- He is an Experienced Software Engineer in the IMS Automation Department at Hexaware Technologies in Chennai, India.
- He is a Mentor at the American Geophysical Union's (AGU) Mentoring 365 Program.
- In 2020, he earned a degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly the University of Pune) in Maharashtra, India, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology (B.E. IT).
- He served as the Global Delegate representing India at the 9th Space Generation Fusion Forum and 36th Space Symposium, held in Colorado Springs, USA, from August 21 to August 23, 2021.
- In July 2021, he was involved as a Space Explorer and GLOBE Scientist in India's first Earth and Space Exploration Program (ESEP 2021) in Ladakh, India. The program is focused on several multi-disciplinary experiments studying the Himalayas.
- For 2 years of the period he served as Student Innovator @ SNJB's College of Engineering’s Institution's Innovation Council | Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MoE’s MIC) formerly MHRD's MIC.
- He is exploring the intersections of Earth and Space Science through the lens of STEM-Diplomacy-Research.
