2018 GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Regional Meeting and Training

Dear GLOBE Country Coordinators, Trainers, Teachers and Partners,

We are pleased to cordially invite you to the GLOBE Regional Meeting and Training for Europe and Eurasia, which will be held on 12-16 November in Toulouse, France. The meeting will be organized in cooperation with the GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Board, GLOBE Program Europe and Eurasia Region Coordination Office, GLOBE France, and CNES.

The event will consist of two parts:

  • Country Coordinators (CCs) Meeting on 12-13 November 
  • GLOBE Training on 14-16 November

 

Information for participants of the GLOBE Regional Meeting and Training

 

We invite GLOBE teachers, trainers, educators, alumni, scientists and other partners to attend the international training held on November 14-16.

Information about Country Coordinators Meeting (November 12-13)

 

GLOBE Country Coordinators and Deputy CCs are eligible for funding from the GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO), but must to register before 25 June 2018 to be eligible. The registration for other participants is open until 30 September 2018.

For CCs/Deputy CCs applying for financial support:

  • The GIO provides financial assistance of up to $1,000 USD for every GLOBE country that sent in a country report for 2018 and completed the GLOBE Annual Survey
  • The applicant(s) for support can be: CCs, Deputy/Assistant CCs, government point of contact.
  • Eligible costs include: travel costs, food served during the event, accommodations at the event, and conference fees.
  • To receive the financial support, register by 25 June. Submit the approximate price of the ticket you want to buy and the number of nights you want to stay.
